Almendra Cremaschi and Gustavo Schrauf participated in the 9th National and International Congress on Agrobiotechnology, Intellectual Property and Public Policies that took place at the Spanish Theater in the city of Azul on May 3 and 4. The event was organized by the Faculty of Agronomy of the National University of the Center of the Province of Buenos Aires (UNICEN), the Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Nation and the Ministry of Agrarian Development of the Province of Buenos Aires. Its objective was to address a multidisciplinary discussion that can integrate agricultural activity with the dimensions of biotechnology, intellectual property and public policies; and deepen the look around development and sustainability in the current global scenario with its difficulties and opportunities.
Institutions such as the National Seed Institute (INASE), the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA), CONICET, the Ministry of Agrarian Development of the Province of Buenos Aires, the University of Buenos Aires, the University of La Plata, NGOs, federations and cooperatives of agricultural producers, among others, also participated.
